After reviewing our blog from almost three years ago I decided I would start posting again. It was so fun to see pictures of the kids and read stories about them. I would have never remembered some of that stuff if I hadn't written it down, so here I go again! The kids are so much bigger now and life has changed so much since the last post but with number three on the way it will be fun to update the blog over the last few years and get ready for a busy new year!!
Oregon Trip
We went on our first family vacation last week to the Oregon Coast. We went to Michaels 2nd cousins wedding on the beach. It was a beautiful wedding!!! The kids had a great time playing on the beach during the wedding and reception and we enjoyed talking with family and eating the amazing food!! We stayed 2 nights in a hotel and than camped for 2 nights. We stayed at Cape Lookout. It was way better than we had imagined. It was a perfect 1st camping site with 2 toddlers:)All Titus wanted to do was play in the ocean and learn how to build sand castles. Abigail was very content playing in the sand and watching all the dogs and people. It was perfect weather and very relaxing! On our way home we picked up our counter tops from IKEA in Portland. Which, ended up being quite an adventure! We didn't get home that night until 1230am. Needless to say we were exhausted the next morning!!!
The last couple months
Here are a few pictures of what we've been up to since Abigail 1st birthday. She just went in yesterday for her 15month check up. She is 75% for height and 65% for weight. She is not a big talker but is defiantly starting to show she has a corky personality. She is a very active little girl like her brother and is now able to keep up with him which is scary! I'm starting to feel like I have twins.
Titus is loving Daddy's drums and is getting pretty good at them. He's still loving soccer tots and swimming!! He is finally loving books and will look at them for long periods of time. We can't decide if he is color blind or if he just doesn't want to learn his colors but I think we'll give it a bit more time before we begin to worry:)
Abigail's 1st Birthday!!
I can't believe my little girl is One!! Wow, it went way faster than Titus' first year. We did a BBQ with family. We had a blast! Abi had fun with all the kids, we had 3 one year olds, 2 two year olds, and a 5 year old along with all the family. I made a pink and red ladybug cake which I was rather proud of (since I'm not creative at all).
The first two pictures of Abigail are from her birthday which was also Easter.
such big helpers
the other kids also got candles to blow out
She ended up eating the whole head!
