Titus 1st trip to the ER

Our little Titus had his first set of stitches on Wednesday. He was playing in his room lost his balance and fell into the corner of the wall. Head wounds bleed so much. It was very sad! Thankfully my mom was over so she was able to help me get the kids in the car etc.
He was such a big boy! I took him to the Sacred Heart Children's ER. It was very kid friendly. He watched Baby Einstein 4 times. They gave him some medicine to relax him which was great! He was so relaxed that right when they were suturing the cut he was laughing at the duck quacking on the TV.
As you can tell from the picture he has already had a few other injuries to the head but this is the first one that needed stitches. Knowing Titus I am sure it will not be the last.

Abigail 6 weeks

Here is a recent pictures of Abigail. I have realized I don't take many pictures of her. I need to work on that. She weighs 10lbs now. She loves to eat! She's getting more fussy. Up until now she has been great just eats, sleeps, and poops. I guess she's making up for lost time.

Out for a walk

We went for a walk downtown today to see the river. It was crazy! The river is so full!! We walked across the suspension bridge and got super wet! Titus loved it. I was bummed I didn't get a picture of him. My camera died after my sister took this picture of me and Abigail. If you live in Spokane you have to check out the river.

potty time

We have offically started the one thing I have dreaded the most about parenting: potty training. We decided having two in diapers at the same time is not fun at all!(sorry Arianna and Lizzi. Hopefully yours will learn to use the potty early:).
Thankfully, Titus is super excited about it. He would probably sit on the toilet all day just to get a Teddy Graham (food is a good motivator for him). We started on monday and still have quite a ways to go. Hopefully he cathes on soon. It is a lot of work!

Titus' cookie experience

Titus helped me make his first batch of cookies today. He had fun stirring the batter. He did get a little too excited and fell off the chair but it did not stop him from having fun measuring the ingredients etc.

the sick family

Well, we are all sick thanks to Titus:). Even little Abigail. She officially has her first cold at just 2 1/2 weeks of life. It is so sad! Her little nose is full of green nasty snot. I am praying she does not get laryngitis's/cough/sore throat all of which I have. Michael was only sick for a day which has been helpful. But, my mom has been a lifesaver. She has spent so much time playing with Titus this last week. Just because he is sick does not slow him down at all!
